my grandmother has had my ios 5.0.1 , 4th generation,white ipod touch (w/ camera) in her room lost. it has not been in use for about 2 months and now, it wont charge, turn on, or be recogni
zed by my laptop.......please help ....................................................

If you are trying to charge via a Computer USB port it may take hours before you get it charged to the point that it will turn on. USB ports have a vary low current flow hence the long charge time.

The battery may also have deteriorated and may need to be replaced.
