Help with Toshibla hard driveClosed

Question

Hello, 

I have a Toshiba laptop that will not boot up. I can get to the screen where I can choose normal or repair but when I choose either one it will only show a black screen(safe mode will not work either). I happen to have another Toshiba laptop with the same hard drive, I switched out the two hard drives. The one hard drive will still not boot up.  Any ideas on what I can try next?
