Hello, could you help me guys.

i have a WD 640GB Scorpio Blue 2.5" Internal Hard Disk.

here is my story.

at first everything was working well. when suddenly my notebook suddenly froze and got a blue screen error, i thought i just needed to do a reboot of my system, but then it took time for my notebook to read my hard disk, at the same time, i heard a clicking sound coming from the exact location of my hard disk.

i waited for the bios to continue, when it got into the black screen before the windows logo come up, it says, OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND.

help me on this. is my Hard disk dead? or not?

i really need the files inside. please help.

and does WESTERN DIGITAL have any actions on this kind of problems. please help me.
thank you very much.

This does sound like your hard drive has died.
Hard drive warranties are rather limited. Most have been reduced to 1 year.

Good Luck
