Does Dell have local support phone number in India? That would be the first place to start. I suspect you will want to return the laptop.

Hello,
There are different possibilities like the power cable, battery problems or short circuit troubles in the internal parts.
You will definitely have to send it to a Repair Shop for knowing from where the specific problem is coming.
It will be easier since you don't have the required tool for checking where there is any short circuit, take care.
