Hello,
I am using Stand Alone Q-See 4 camera DVR system (QSD004).The outputs are 1 RCA and 1 USB (2.0).
The RCA cable plugs into the "Video In" of the PC Video card and works OK.
The USB is also capable of plugging into the PC for recording to the PC's Hard Drive. The DVR has its own hard drive so this (USB) connection is not required.
My question is: - Is there such a thing as a USB to Router Port converter over CAT5 that will allow me to remotely view my DVR over the Internet or Network, therefore allowing viewing (Audio is not required) when the computer is shutdown? Obviously the DVR will be running and producing the required information.
Thx in advance
