Laptop won't turn on

Hello, my laptop had a virus on it which took over the system. I managed to get the virus off of it but when it restarted the keyboard wasn't working. I thought the action was acting up so I manually restarted it. Now it will not turn on at all. The battery was full. And the charger no longer lights up when plugged in, I know it has energy going into it but it is not working, any ideas????
Please help!!!!

I tried the hard restart, and it won't work. The laptop isn't recieving power from the battery or cord( I am starting to think) but I am not sure
