hi,
i think you may have to charge your ipod for a night, if you did it and it still doesnt work, then i recommend you to follow these steps:
1) press the power button and home button at the same time for 15 seconds
2) release the power button but keep holding the home button for 10 seconds
3) then the ipod touch will turn into a recover mode, then restore it via itunes (don't worry, your data will still in there)
