What support (computer maker or ISP?)
What type of internet access?
Wired or wifi connection?
There are multiple failure points possible:
1. ISP
2. modem
3. router
4. computer hardware (different hardware for wired and wireless connection)
5. computer software (firewall, virus, Windows)
Can you test the computer on a friends network or have a friend use your connection? Or do you have other computers and/or tablets/phones that can be used to test the connection?
You might need to have a local computer repair shop take a look at the computer. These types of problems often take "hands on" access to diagnose and fix.
Good Luck
