Hi Maddi,
Please try to start the computer in BIOS and check if the computer stays on. To enter BIOS, start tapping F2 key when the Dell Logo appears. Also, try running "Dell 32-bit Diagnostics" and check if you get any hardware related errors during diagnostics. Also, observe if the computer shuts down during diagnostics.
