I have purchased a new hard drive for my Dell Inspiron 1525. I previously upgraded to Windows 7 on that Laptop.

Why question is when I install the new hard drive is my 1st step to install the Windows 7 disc then the driver cd? I also own rights to office 2007 &2010 put currently don't use them much I paid for a learner cd for the office 2007 is there much difference between the two? I mean would the learner cd be beneficial for office 2010? I know a lot of questions.

I would appreciate anyone who can guide me in the right direction.

Hi Forrest,

Answering your first question, yes, you should first install Windows 7 Operating System and then for the Operating to work efficiently you must install the drivers. You can follow the order of Driver's Installation suggested in the below mentioned link:

Answering your second question, you have mentioned you paid for "learner cd for the office 2007". I would like know which version of Microsoft Office you have?
