Hello,

Try this 1

1) First backup your registry.

Click on Start --> In search bar, type regedt32 and press Enter.

(You can also type the above command in Run)

"Registry Editor" will be opened.

Click on "File" --> Export --> Save the file with any name in your desired location.

2) Click on the below hyperlink "Fix 1 & Fix 2" and download the files

Fix1

Fix2

Extract both the files and then first double-click on extracted file from Fix1 and

click on OK. Same with the Fix2 also.

Restart your PC.

Good Luck

Hello,
Try this 1
In an another PC if Vista OS is installed in C-Drive then hold the windows key and press the "F" key. This should open the search Window. Now search for the file regedt32 in the C-Location.
When the search results shows you the file, right-click on it and select copy.
Let me know if you still want it in brief. I will help you further in searching for that file with images..

Hello,
Try this 1
Copy the registry editor from Windows 7 and check if you are able to open that in Windows Vista. If it failed to
open saying not valid application then Skip the step 1. Try the given below step2 directly.
