My ps3 won't turn on it plays the music but I can't see anything

Okay so for Christmas break I have to go over my grandmas house I brung all my games. My grandma has an old apex tv and it just won't turn on. I hear the little ps3 music but I don't see anything. Just I blank screen. HELP ME

What kind of cable are you using? Does the PS3 have the correct audio config that relate to the cable?

Just the regular red yellow and white cables

Ok, so the yellow is to the yellow, and red to red and white to white, and the tv input is set to inputX, X being th einput that you have attahced the cable to, it should be input1 or input2.

Take a look to make certain that your input matches the cable connection......
