Ok, this is rampant now.
When did it start? Has it ever worked?
Check for a network location, and any thing else from the following:

Try the simple stuff first please. Pull an ip address, by ipconfig/release /renew. Check to be certain your netowrk address is in the same subnet as your gateway, if it isn't then it isn't pulling an IP address. Try that first!
