Ran Malwarebytes on Gateway LT Touch - now it will not reboot

I got a Gateway LT Touch - Windows 8 new laptop a few days ago. Started getting unwanted programs installing so ran malwarebytes. At the end of running it said to restart - but it will not reboot! :-( just keeps saying that it is "Preparing Automatic repair" (for a few seconds) and then "Diagnosing Your PC" and then "Attempting repairs" and it gets stuck there.

I have left it on "attempting repairs" for about 10-15 minutes.

I have tried rebooting a bunch of times - tapping the F8 key by itself and while holding down Shift; tapping the F10 key by itself and aslo while holding down Alt. Nothing has worked!

HELP!

It appears that you had a serious malware Trojan problem and Malwarebytes deleted critical parts of the Operating System. If you have access to the Windows install disk you can try a "Repair" operation. Otherwise, you will need to re-install Windows.

When I press power it will say preparing automatic repair then go to diagnosing your pc, it will stay here never leaving this screen even after days, I have tried pressing ALT/F8, ALT/F10 and ALT/F11 also have tried pressing windows/C Nothing gets past the diagnosing your pc screen, I want to factory reset to start computer, I do not see anything along the lines of a menu to be able to choose anything, Only "Diagnosing your PC" screen, Help?

Hello,
I got my gateway notebook nv52 a couple months ago. I was in class when it jus died. I closed it thinking the battery just died. I plugged it into the wall and opened it in my next class 10 minutes later and it will not turn back on. I tried the upside down trick. but idk if I did it right. when my notebook is plugged in with the battery in it. the charge light comes on and says its fully charged but wont turn on. no noise. nothin.If I take out the battery and try to use the cord it shows no lights or life. same thing besides the charge light is not on. PLease Help Me! It Cost $299 to ship it to get it fixed and I dont have that type of money. PLease Help!!!!!
