Toshiba Satellite White Screen

My Toshiba laptop keeps on either restarting itself or freezing and bringing a white screen. Sometimes the screen can come in other colors. It does this so often when am using it EXCEPT when I am playing a game. I have tried severally to solve the problem without succes. What could the problem be? Am using windows 8.1, Toshiba Satellite Pro L300.

Go to PC settings and select update and recovery and select remove everything and reinstall windows. If it does not solve your problem, the problem is with your display adapter/ graphics card. Go to TOSHIBA Service center or local chip level service guys to fix this problem.
