Hi there,

Unfortunately dropping a HDD might cause a drive damage. If you can give me more details about the issue, I could be able to offer you further assistance, but the truth is that various things can go wrong if the drive is dropped. Can you hear the drive spinning? Is there any clicking sound, except for the beeping? I would check if the drive is visible in Disk Management, Device Management and BIOS. If you have the option, check the drive on another PC.

You can check this link, because the case is a bit similar: https://ccm.net/forum/affich-694586-my-passport-wd-1tb-is-not-recognizing-by-pc-laptop

Hope this helped
