Internet keeps dropping

Hello,
My internet keeps dropping am using an iPad please help the provider puts it right then it drops again does this about 18 times a day

Only on your home wifi connection?

If so then i would think you need to replace the modem/router.

The Internet provider will send someone out but they will charge me £65 + vat if they can't find anything wrong I don't know what to do. Can I buy my own router?
