USB not showing nay data

Hello,
whenever i insert any pendrive in my notebook it shows a short having the name of the pendrive, but when i checked the same pendrive in other system it shwoed
all the datas in it.
i tried with a couple of pendrive but result is same, & the shortcut having the name of the pendrive doesn't open.
