USB Issues

I have been using a USB to hold extra items for me, but yesterday, it stopped connecting. When I plug it in, my computer seems to recognize that there is a removable disc, but when I click on the selection (D:) it does not open and instead prompts me to "Please Insert a Disk into Removable Disk (D:)". If the USB is not plugged in, nothing is shown. I have run PhotoRec, USBFix, and Recuva, but nothing seems to be able to recover anything. Is there anything I can do?

What shows in device manager?
Under 'Other Devices', it shows an unknown device without drivers. I have it scanning, but having searched manually for Omnitech USB drivers, I have found none.
