Lenovo laptop won't start up

when I opened up the laptop this morning all I could see is a black screen and Lenovo in white letters
I thought it starting up but it didn't do anything. I just turned of the computer and turned it back on it only got to t e same screen. I did it probably 2-3 more times. same thing. I then turned it off again too the battery out. Pushed on button for 30 seconds put the battery in. Turned on. Same thing. Turns on to the next screen with Lenovo in white letters . That's where I am now 4 hours,later. I think there was an update scheduled and it might have been overnight. So not sure if that's has anything to do with anything. The laptop is less than two years old. Please help!!
