Use PC's Internet to laptop via ethernet

Hello,

I want to use my PC's Internet connection in my laptop via ethernet cable.My PC is connected to internet via modem (having only one ethernet slot which is used by pc) Can I use my PC's internet in my laptop via ethernet cable??

I suggest you buy a wifi router.
