Hello,
I have the same problem as a number of other posters in that my laptop will no longer boot -- no fans spinning up, no beeps, no nothing. Draining the flea power and trying to power up does not work; the issue persists. Here's what happens: every time I attempt to boot, I see several slow blinks of the power indicator and then it remains on. Depressing the power button again (even holding it down) does not turn the power indicator light off. The AC adaptor LED is on both plugged in and unplugged from the laptop. Any thoughts on the issue? I've also tried reseating the RAM for what that's worth, to no avail....

Remove the battery and plug in your adapter directly to your laptop!
I've tried that as well -- it only replicates the problem. No booting, power light slowly blinks a few times, then remains on.
