I have 3 partitions in my Dell Vostro (Windows 7) laptop C:, D: and E: i copied some files from a pen drive into the E: drive and after that E: drive would not open.... whenever i go to my computer i can see all my drives and i can also see that the data size of E: drive is same as it was earlier i.e 60 GB but when i click on the drive it takes me to the E: drive and just freezes there without showing any files in the E: drive...Please help !

Hollo je.khan,

Do you log in on your Pc as administrator? Have you tried to restore your laptop to last known good configuration to a previous date?
You could try to find more info within this forum. I think these two links could be helpful to you:
1. https://ccm.net/forum/affich-72506-can-t-open-local-drive-e-c-access-denied
2. https://ccm.net/forum/affich-458737-i-can-t-open-my-local-disk-drive-e

Good luck.

Hello again,

The restore to last known good configuration only affects you system settings and should not affect any of your personal data.

Good luck.
