Ipod Touch 5th generation wont torn on

Hello,


I was going on vacation for two weeks and i left my iPod on a low charge and when i got back the iPod wouldn't charge or turn on. the iPod home with a low charge. All I got was a battery icon showing very low. Tried to restart - no response. Someone please help ASAP

It might take a few hours to charge a very low battery.
