The computer started up like normal but froze after a few minutes, so I did a hard restart. When the computer turned back on the monitor was stuck in power save mode when I tried to wake it up it said it couldn't recieve a signal from the computer. I checked all of the connections, made sure the input was correct, unplugged everything and plugged it all back in, nothing worked. I think something might be wrong with the graphics card and if so I wouldn't know what to do, so if anyone could suggest something before I take it to Geek Squad that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

Do you even have a graphics card? Many computers have motherboard or CPU supplied graphics solutions. If you truly have a video card then you might try removing it and reinstalling it.
