Opening my WD

Hello,

I plugged in my WD my passport 3.0 USB and it doesn't show up. I was able to locate it and it said that it's working properly but I can't open it up. I want to see what files I have and be able to access them. What should I do?

is it showing as a drive or as a mass storage device?

It didn't appear so I had to manually look for it. It showed up as my passport

what system are you running? 7, 8, 8.1, 10?
