Connecting to internet

Hello,


I have internet coming to my apartment and when I connect a cable directly to my laptop or playstation I can connect to the internet but when I connect it to my Linksys E800 I can't connect to the internet. Do I need a new router?

Since you can buy a replacement E800 for $17 on Amazon I say why not buy a new one. You can try resetting to factory settings by using the "reset" switch on the back>
