Wifi connected, but no internet?

Hello,

I've been trying everything as of late, trying to connect my laptop to wifi. I've tried different wifi servers and still nothing.
The facts are
My laptop is fully connected to wifi with Internet access but when I load Web pages, they're still white screen blank and will try loading till my computer dies with no results
I'm not using any firewall or blocking applications

My IP addresses connect automatically
It's not a virus, since I've done a couple scans that come up with nothing
I'm using a Gateway laptop on Chrome.

If you have a solution, please tell me step by step how to solve this issue, simply cause I'm not too tech savvy but I need my laptop for school and can't do anything without it. Any help would be appreciated.
