Hello, I am getting an error message saying the web page can not be loaded. (Midlandhistoricaldata.org) I use BT Connect as my ISP. Use a Toshiba satellite running win 10. I use the Chrome browser. I have no other problems loading web pages. I have tried it on Chrome and IE and get the same message. I can access this site at my friends using a Virginmedia Hub, on their system, and my Toshiba. Just won't load at mine using BT. There are no parental controls set on my Hub to block this page either!

Hi,

It is not just working on your browser, I am also not able to load the website on my browser.

I got this message:. So if it is your site, it is better to contact your website hosting provider

The server at midlandhistoricaldata.org can't be found because the DNS look-up failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

Thanks & Regards,
Danny

Hello

I am able to reach Midlandhistoricaldata.org on Firefox, so your Chrome must have restrictions. Actually Chrome still has bugs.

Hi Ted,

Try to use Chromium https://ccm.net/downloads/internet/5843-chromium/#q=chromium&cur=1&url=%2F

It has same feature as Chrome that may load the website.

Guys. Did you not understand the thread properly? There is nothing wrong with using Chrome because I have already accessed the site(MidlandHistorical.Org) using that browser at my friends, using his ISP(Virginmedia). My PC connects to this site and so does his. But not when you go to mine and use my BT HUB.
Keep the ideas coming regardless, much appreciate everyone's help.
