Trying to connect ps3 to the Internet

I keeping trying to connect my ps3 to the Internet all I have is the WiFi password and an ip address but every time I try to connect it comes up this is a DSN error how can I connect?

OK, what band are yo uusing. If your wifi is broadcasting on the N channel/band/freq, then change it to G. The PS3 does not have a N band adaptor.

I'm using my neighbors WiFi I don't have access To his modem I'm looking for another way to connect
