Hello,

My hard Drive has a corrupted file system, and is showing in Disk management as Not Initialised, when I try to initialise it show I/O error.
Please help me recover the data/ or correct the file system.
The Light is blinking and the disk is spinning.

Thanks in advance

Hello Parag,

Since you are talking about blinking light, I assume that the failure is within an external hard disk, am I correct? How do you connect this type of disk - has it got its own case or it has been put in a separate one?
Have you tried connecting it to another PC with another USB cable? I would also like to know if you have checked the power supply cable, for it may have been damaged.
There are some data recovery programs within the Internet, but if you would like to leave the job in professional hands you could bring it to a data recovery company.

Hope that I helped you. Good luck.
