Gateway Laptop

Hello,

I have a gateway Laptop that will not connect to the wireless interent. When the problem is diagnosed it reads " cannot automatically connect to network".
Can someone please help me?

Go into computer management. By clicking start right clicking computer click manage
Click device management
Look for network click
Right click your wireless internet card hit disable
Then right click it and hit enable

I've got as far as device manager (that I what my comp reads). The next step, I see is Network adapters. It gives me two options to click on, the ether net controller or wireless device.

Wireless controller. Right click hit disable
Then right click after a few minutes and hit enable
