                    Hello ajay,
Usually 1 beep code on the Dell computers means failure of the BIOS. This is not very good. I really doubt that the HDD replacement would solve the problem. Is your laptop still under warranty? If it's not, then try the replace the CMOS battery with a new one. If you don't have any other battery, take out the current one for some 10 mins, of course after you have been unplugged the charger and the battery, and after that plug it back in. Try to boot and tell me what happened.
Good luck.
