Connected but no Internet access

Hello,
It says I am connected to the modem but I have no internet access. Weirdly I can connect and browse on the Internet with other devices. I've tried a couple of solutions given by troubleshooting sites but they do not work.. I've tried both connecting wirelessly and cable-ly, both give me same problems.. Any help given would be appreciated

Malware could have installed a proxy server that is preventing you from accessing the Internet. You can find the proxy server setting in Internet Explorer Tools tab. I suggest you also run a malware scan,
