my hardrive is detected,but does not appears in my pc.i tried to installize it by doing some processes in disk management but it says,request failed due to fatal device hardware error, plz tell what to do ,i got very imp data in this hardrive

Hi bividhbimas,

Could you tell me if the drive appears with a correct file format in Disk Management? Does it have a drive letter? If you can, attach a screenshot. I strongly recommend you to test the drive on another PC and with another USB cable.
Please have in mind that initializing or formatting the drive will delete all stored data. If the drive cannot be accessed, try using a data recovery software. I leave you a link with some suggestions:
