Trouble booting up

Hello,
I'm having some trouble with my laptop when I boot it up. I press the power button and it turns on. The HP logo appears, and it freezes there. Then it restarts, turning to black screen, then back to the HP logo, and it continues doing this. I do not understand why, and have tried everything.

Looks very much like a motherboard power supply issue. The same happened to me.

I suggest you consult your friendly neighbourhood repair shop.

XP Won't start, not even in safe mode

Hi,

My windows XP won't start. I shutted down the computer yesterday, today when I started it it will run till the windows boot screen, when the bar reaches the end the screen will stay black and nothings happens

I tried to boot in safe mode but after loading the drivers it just stays there as well and wont go on with the boot.

I wanted to repair the system with the Windows XP CD-ROM but I'm not given the option to repair. After it starts all the devices needed, i'm presented with the partitions I have on my PC to choose in which to install windows, if I pick one I can format and install or just install.

Fan runs so fast but cpu is not rebooting

I would like to have some help bec our cpu is not rebooting but the fan runs so fast. Was the motherboard problem?

cooling fan running high speed, will not boot

Hello,

My two DELLs, on a hard reboot, now start with the cooling fan in full
speed and no further effort from BIOS to go further. Can not even get
as far as F2 Reset. Nada.

Hello,

I am new here, and I'm desperate for some help with my Windows XP Pro machine. (I think I'm running SP2, but I can't be 100% sure; it's been a long time since I used this machine.) Apologies in advance for this post's length; I really am not sure what to do here and have tried some things already, and would really appreciate any help you can give me.

I have not used this computer for the past couple of years, and the few times I've tried to turn it on recently, I get a blue screen that reads:

STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}
The image ole32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.
