Gateway laptop not booting

Hello,
I have a gateway and it won't turn on. All the lights about the keys turn on and the power light but I can't hear any fans or anything that shows life turn on.
I love my laptop and don't know how to fix it.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

Hi MissClueless,

It seems that your laptop can not power up. Try what Ambucias suggested. It is a standard troubleshooting step when it comes to power supply problems. If the issue persists, I would recommend you to try with another power cable. If the laptop is under warranty, contact the seller. If the warranty has expired, you should search for assistance from a technician.
