Can't log in with another device

Hello,
I have access to email in my old phone but can't log in into another device. Is there any way I can get reset option sent to my original email account where I have access via my phone device and my husband phone to access email and reset my password. I have very urgent emails in it and I created that email in 2008 when I first came to Australia but unfortunately I am at the edge where I will be loosing access soon. Please see if you can help me please help me I am in big trouble
