My computer was working just fine today, but it just crashed out of nowhere and when I started it back up the monitor said there was no signal. I've unplugged everything and held the power for 30 seconds but nothing, I disconnected the monitor and reconnected it and still nothing. I even replaced the cables. The fans are running and there are still lights. I noticed that the restart button no longer works and the DVD player sounds like it's trying to spin, I also noticed that the caps locks light doesn't light up as well, please I really need this computer

Does the oncreen menu for the monitor work? Press the MENU key on the monitor and see if a menu comes up. If so, then it is the PC, or video card. Does the PC have an external video card?
The menu does indeed work, so it's the pc and no I don't have and external video card

Then it is fried it sounds like. There is nothing you can do with onboard video, except put in a video card, and hopefully it works!
Alright I'll see what I can do
