Ps3 will not connect to charter wifi

Ps3 will not connect to charter wifi. Tried just about everything possible.

What band is the Charter gateway using? If it is using Band N, then you must change it to use G/N. The PS3 uses a G band WIFI adaptor. Check that first. If you do not know, call your technical support, and have them verify the B/G/N band is on!
