Can't access yahoo email

Hello,
I am trying to access an old yahoo email account. I have reset the password, answered security questions, added an alternate email and it logs into my account, but when I hit the mail tab, it comes up with an error code. How can I access my email?

Thank you for responding to my question. It is Temporary Error: 8, but has been giving me that consistently for a month.

Try to delete your temporary files and cookies
