Ipod touch will not turn on

Hello, my iPod won't turn on, I haven't charge it for a day, and it turned off, when I tried to turn it on or charge it, nothing happens. I pressed the home button, nothing. I pressed the top button, NOTHING! I pressed home button+top button at the same time, but still nothing! Help me please!!
