Laptop won't turn on

I have a Dell insurion that won't come on. The lights are on and the start up screen comes on and then make the start up sound but goes to a blank screen. Please help. Thank you!

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
