Connected but not working

I have win 7 and I connected to my WiFi modem via a cable. And when its connected, my computer says I have internet access but when I open a browser and try to access the internet it says it has a problem with a proxy. Is it because I was hacked by someone yesterday? Or something else? Please tell me.

do you normally use a proxy?

If not, then you need to use Internet Explorer to delete the proxy setting. The exact method depends on version of Explorer you are using. You can first try the "Settings" button.

Hello,
I'm connected to a public server at my university and the wifi says connected but I don't have access to the internet. I know the Internet works, because I'm accessing it through my phone. However, sometimes an authorization page comes up to allow students to sign in. I'm thinking i need to resurgirías my computer, but i have no idea how to bring up that page since it comes up automatically. Can you help? Thanks

Hello,
I have been struggling with this for several days now. I have windows 7 and suddelny my browsers stoped working (IE, Firefox, Chrome) Sometimes I have acces for 3 to 5 mins every hour or so but the problem starts again. I have wireless connection all the time in this my smartphone and the torrents in my pc work fiine. Windows XP Desktop is showing that its connected to the internet, but when I try to open internet explorer it says. Cannot Find Server. Page can not be displayed. How do I get it to connect? My laptop is wired to a router thats
connected to my desktop and the internet on there works fine. For some reason though just the internet on my Desktop does not work. I also hooked my internet directly to my laptop and it works fine. But still my desktop is showing the same thing. I recently tried to Install Windows Service Pack 3 and there was a problem. It said Access Denied then quit the Installation. Hello,
I use firefox. I know that my connection is fine, but my firefox screen is blank. The internet explorer screen won't work either - says unable to load page.
Can anybody help?

Hello, I am writing you this message for a reason, because I can no longer access my PlayStation 4 console at all.

My sister was charging her controllers one day and the controller brought up something we had never seen before, a error message saying "To Many USB Devices Connected."

- This brought up some real confusion.

- While the controller still connected via Bluetooth, I was stupid enough to go into settings and mess around.

- I ended up resetting the console settings back to default.

- This did not work, instead, brought me to the PlayStation 4 setup screen prompting me to connect the PlayStation 4 Controller ...
