No internet

Hello,
i keep trying to connect to the internet using a Ethernet cord but it continuous to say ip address timed out. what do i do?

reset your ip address by following this link:

https://ccm.net/faq/848-windows-xp-repairing-the-network-connection

and check also the Ethernet cable
