No signal

Hello, I've connected the 15 bit VGA cable from my acer pc to my sony bravia, changed the resolution and tried changing the screens, but nothing seems to be happening. When I go to the pc option, all it says is 'available when device is connected', but it's not connected. Please help.

Please check whether the problem is not coming from the graphic card or its driver.
