Hello,
Don't you see the HDD in BIOS?
SATA is a cable that connects your HDD to your Motherboard..
Not only SATA cable there may be possiblity or IDE cable also...
Is it your pc is laptop or desktop?...
When is the problem occur?.. How did you say it is not detected..
Regards

Hello,
Check your bios, make sure your sata controller is set to ATA, not AHCI.

As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL key if you have a desktop, to enter the BIOS.
