Google Earth is a very popular geolocation software that can be used as an aerial camera, helping you explore the world from your computer or mobile device. Google Earth is powered by satellites that capture images of earth and then make them available via the application. There are currently a number of different versions of Google Earth. Google Earth Web, Google Earth Mobile (Android, iOS), Google Earth Pro, and Google Earth Studio. This is the Google Earth download for desktop users.

The collection of images allow users to view different parts of the world in real-time. Users can opt to use the tool via a web browser or to download the application. Google Earth has been recently optimized for Chrome and Android with additional features, including 3D buildings, informative content, and tours of monuments and natural wonders.

Yes, all versions of Google Earth are free. Some require you to connect with your Google Account.

Google Earth Web

As of March 2020, there is a web version of Google Earth that you can use on various web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge and Safari. Google Earth Web that doesn’t require you to download anything. As this is an experimental version of Google Earth, the performance may not be as good as if you download the full version.

Google Earth Pro

Google Earth Studio

According to Google, Earth Studio and Google Earth serve different purposes. Google Earth allows you to explore a virtual globe using satellite imagery, maps, 3D buildings and more . Whereas, Earth Studio is a tool for animating geospatial information to create still and video content.
