In the world of Typer Shark! Deluxe, you dive into the ocean's depths, armed with a keyboard and the mission to survive. As a fearless diver, you embark on an expedition to uncover the secrets of the underwater world while facing the constant threat of hungry sharks and menacing piranhas.

But don't be scared, as you will learn how to take your enemies down using your powerful keyboard and constantly enhancing your typing capabilities. Indeed, the numerous typing lessons will teach you how to type faster and more accurately than ever.

Gameplay

Learn to type: Sharpening your typing skills by teaching you to type fast and correctly is the game's main point. Henceforth, it provides various game modes to make the experience playful and challenging. From the Typing Tutor to deep down the abyss, you'll travel far from home and come back more efficient and accurate than you were.
Smooth learning curve: Everyone's different regarding learning or improving capabilities. Luckily, you can customize settings per skill level and try different difficulty levels to ensure you are challenged but not completely overwhelmed.

Enemies: Every enemy has a specific character or series of characters adorning it, which you can type using your keyboard to defeat them. You will encounter many enemies down there, including the Shark, the Hammerhead Shark, the Tiger Shark, the Piranha, the Strong Piranha, the Ghost Shark, the Toxic Shark, and the Deep Sea Fish. Each one offers a different challenge, comes with more or less health, and requires different typing conditions to be beaten.
Bosses: The bosses offer extra challenges and will push through your limits. We don't want to spoil you, so you'll have to discover them along your journey, but they are all different. Hone your typing skills, be ready to adapt, understand how they behave, identify their weaknesses, and take them down.

Graphics and sound

This educational game features simple old-school 2D graphics with cool animations and sounds. But it is on purpose you don't get tons of effect, as the experience is designed to let you focus on word typing. Still, the result is quite neat for that kind of game.

Duration and game modes

Adventure: This is the standard game mode wherein you can pick which level to navigate and explore its secrets. Two cool details about this mode: first, at the end of each level, you will find a Shipwreck, which lets you type as many words as possible for extra points; second, there are secret levels to find.
Abyss: You will dive into the abyss infinitely or until you run out of lives. In this infinite mode, you will keep track of your progress using your trustworthy depth meter and try to descend as deep as possible. You will encounter the same NPCs and enemies as in Adventure mode.
Typing Tutor: The training mode is fundamental if you want to make progress consistently. You will be happy to discover all the different typing lessons, each dedicated to a specific subject, like "making you learn capitalization and punctuation".
