Warframe is an action role-playing third-person shooter (TPS) multiplayer online. Developed and published by Digital Extremes, the game was originally released in 2013. Warframe incorporates ideas and art from an earlier project - Dark Sector - and in addition to the PC version, it's supported also on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay

Warframe is an action role-playing third-person shooter (TPS) multiplayer online game that also incorporates stealth mechanics. From the beginning, players have to choose a Warframe - an armor with different skills and stats that will influence the gameplay. The complete Warframe tier list is available online. Completing missions earns experience, which allows players and their equipment to level up, while the different equipment mods bring passive or negative bonuses and abilities. Players also have the possibility to obtain mods through an in-game currency called Platinum, but also through microtransactions with real money. In Warframe, levels are procedurally generated and there are open-world areas.

  • Plot: The race of ancient warriors - the Tenno - awakes in the future and their memories are lost. Groups of the fallen civilization of the Orokin Empire have created different races, including the Tenno, that the warriors will have to face: the Grineer, the Corpus, the Infested, and the Sentients. The Tenno have to jump in their biomechanical Warframes to fight back.

  • Modes: You can join thousands of people online but you can also enjoy the game with up to three friends! In addition, there are 24 types of missions: Arena, Assassination, Assault, Capture, Defection, Defense, Disruption, Excavation, Exterminate, Free Roam/Bounty (Plains of Eidolon, Orb Vallis & Cambion Drift), Hijack, Infested Salvage, Interception, Junction, Mobile Defense, Pursuit (Exclusive to Archwing), Rescue, Rush (Exclusive to Archwing), Sabotage, Sanctuary Onslaught, Skirmish (Exclusive to Railjack), Spy, Survival, and Volatile (Exclusive to Railjack).

  • Customize: Players can choose one of the many Wareframes - but they can also fully customize them to get the best experience possible.
